Circle C Travel Plaza started out as Tommie's Truck Stop on Hwy 15 in 1970, before I-95 was built. After construction of I-95 began, Mr. Tommie made the decision to move his operation a few miles away from its present location to better serve the traveling public. From this location, the truck stop began serving cold sandwiches and some grill orders.
Mr. Tommie eventually sold the company to Mr. Henry Crosby, who ran the truck stop until he sold it to his son, Scott Crosby. Scott and his family are dedicated to the independent truck stop business and serving the traveling public. Neece's, named after Mr. Tommie's daughter and Scott's wife Denise, has continuously served great southern cookin' and looks forward to serving the traveling public for many years to come.
